— ABOUT MIH Climate Impact Capital

Where Global Climate Technology Meets
Asia-Pacific Supply Chain

Who We Are

MIH Climate Impact Capital was founded in 2020 by Lawrence Yen, a venture investor and operator with a track record spanning energy storage, food services, consumer products, and technology manufacturing across the Taiwan, Mainland China, and United States.

MIH Climate Impact Capital is a venture fund that invests in early-stage climate and sustainability technology companies at the point where commercial ambition meets the complexity of global scale. We back founders building in energy transition, sustainable materials and circular economy, industrial decarbonization, climate data and adaptation, and food and agricultural technology — sectors where the path from laboratory to market can benefit from collaborations with Asia-Pacific manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution infrastructure.

Each investment is selected for its technology differentiation, commercial viability, and capacity to benefit from MIH’s Asia-Pacific supply chain network and go-to-market relationships.

Our LP relationships reflect the breadth of our investor base — from family offices with generational sustainability mandates to institutional allocators seeking climate exposure with APAC optionality. We work closely with our limited partners beyond capital deployment, offering co-investment access, portfolio visibility, and direct introductions to our operator and corporate network across Taiwan, Greater China, and Southeast Asia.
